The Aam Aadmi Party has undertaken a key reshuffle by removing Raghav Chadha from the position of deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha and appointing Ashok Mittal in his place.

The move has attracted attention as Chadha has been absent from several major party events, including a press briefing by Arvind Kejriwal and a public outreach programme at Jantar Mantar. His silence on recent developments has been widely noted.

Chadha has been an integral part of AAP since 2012 and has held multiple responsibilities, including managing party finances as national treasurer and contributing to key policy decisions as a member of the Political Affairs Committee.

He currently continues to hold organisational responsibilities as Punjab co-incharge, even as the latest development raises questions about evolving roles within the party.
